I got a mirror cube! And I managed to solve it!! I did the first layer intuitively/randomly lmao, then used the 2 f2l algs to finish the second layer (had to consult my alg sheet... muscle memory is all fucked up from the cube haha), then consulted algs again for OLL and PLL, but it's done! I'm sure that solving it will really reinforce the algs themselves lol. Did you have your comps yet?
I am kind of figuring out CFOP on the mirror cube..! Can so some actual F2L pairing now that I’m more used to recognizing the ‘white’ corners and their edge pairs. Still gotta refer to OLL and PLL alg sheets for recognition and the algs because the muscle memory and fingertricks do not really carry over, but I think I’ll be able to do 2 look for both with a little practice!

that’s awesome! I have banished mine to one of my draws at the moment until I have the patience to solve it haha. The shape of it just throws me off so much! It sounds like you’re storming ahead with it though which is brilliant. You’ll have to give me tips :D
Comp day is tomorrow! I’m excited but very very unprepared. Just going to go, have fun, and hopefully give out a few stickers to people.
